Explorers Room
(6 months – 2 years)

Our Explorers room is the beginning of your child’s journey at Your Montessori.

At this stage, our focus is on creating a true home-from-home environment. Many children joining our nursery have previously spent most of their time with parents or close family members, so helping them feel safe and secure away from home is our top priority.

 

We want Your Montessori to be a place where babies and toddlers build trust, form early friendships and create happy memories while being surrounded by caring practitioners and other children.

Routine plays an essential role in helping babies and toddlers thrive. Our carefully structured day includes opportunities to explore, rest, eat and interact with others in a calm and supportive environment.

 

A typical day in our Explorers room includes:

• Nutritious meals and snacks

• Circle time

• Planned sensory activities

• Music and movement

• Outdoor play

• Rest and sleep time

• Extra-curricular activities
