Explorers Room
Explorers (6 months - 2 years)
Our Explorers room is the start of your child’s journey at Your Montessori.
This room is about creating a home from home environment. Typically when children join us, they have been at home exclusively with their parents so settling them away from their parents is the key priority. We want Your Montessori to be a safe place for your child to grow and create happy memories whilst being surrounded by like-minded children.
We believe that routine is key, especially in our Explorers room and so we work hard to create a balanced routine for your child including lots of playing with the other children, exposing them to lots of new and stimulating activities and of course eating and sleeping. All of this means our babies and toddlers thrive in our Explorers room.
Our Explorers timetable consists of meals, circle time, planned activities, sensory play, music and movement, outdoor play, sleep and extracurricular activities.
Our extracurricular activities currently consist of Spanish, Yoga, Street Dance and Little Kickers. These are delivered by external Teachers and are made available for all children in all rooms
