Our Chosen Charity: Wells on Wheels
We are proud to support our chosen charity, Wells on Wheels, an organisation dedicated to helping children access education by reducing the burden of water collection in rural communities.
In many rural regions of India, women walk 1–2 miles each day in extreme heat, carrying heavy water containers on their heads. Over time, this can lead to serious health problems including chronic neck, shoulder and back pain.
The time spent collecting water often prevents women from working and supporting their families. In many cases, children — particularly girls as young as seven years old — are required to help collect water instead of attending school.
The Water Wheel
To help solve this problem, Wells on Wheels created the Water Wheel, an innovative water drum designed to be rolled along the ground instead of carried on the head.
This simple but powerful invention dramatically reduces the physical strain and time required to collect water.

Our Promise to Families
For every new child who joins Your Montessori nursery in Iver Heath, we donate a Water Wheel to a family in need.
When your child registers with our nursery, we will also provide you with a certificate from Wells on Wheels, showing the impact your family has helped create.
This initiative allows our nursery community to contribute to something meaningful while helping children in other parts of the world gain access to education.

At Your Montessori, we pride ourselves on building excellent partnerships with parents. Through regular events and opportunities to engage with nursery life, parents feel connected to the environment their child is part of every day.
